Long before Johnson Family Bulldogs became a recognized name in responsible breeding, we were simply a family deeply in love with a dog. Our journey began over a decade ago when we brought home our very first English Bulldog. We were instantly captivated by the breed’s unique blend of hilarious stubbornness, profound loyalty, and gentle affection.
However, as we immersed ourselves in the Bulldog community, we noticed a concerning trend: many dogs were being bred for extreme looks rather than health and longevity. We knew this incredible breed deserved better.

The Family Behind The Paws
We are not a kennel facility or a large-scale commercial breeder. We are a small, family-owned and operated program where every single puppy is whelped and raised right in our living room. From the moment they take their first breath until they leave for their forever homes, our puppies are surrounded by human touch, household sounds, and endless love.
Our children play a massive role in our program. They are the official "puppy socializers," ensuring that by the time a puppy joins your family, they are already accustomed to kids, gentle handling, and everyday family chaos. Breeding is a labor of love for us—a 24/7 commitment that requires sleepless nights, constant education, and wholehearted dedication.

Because we raise our puppies in our home, we only plan a select few litters each year. This allows us to dedicate 100% of our time, energy, and resources to the specialized care and socialization of each individual puppy.
